Processional Hymn - 611 - All Creature of Our God and King

All creatures of our God and king,
Lift up your voice and let us sing:
Alleluia, alleluia!
O burning sun with golden beam
And silver moon with softer gleam:
Sing your praises! Alleluia, alleluia!
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!

O rushing wind and breezes soft,
O clouds that ride the winds aloft:
Sing your praises! Alleluia!
O rising morn, in praise rejoice,
O lights of evening, find a voice.
Sing your praises! Alleluia, alleluia!
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!

O flowing waters, pure and clear,
Make music for your Lord to hear.
Sing your praises! Alleluia!
O fire, so masterful and bright,
Providing us with warmth and light,
Sing your praises! Alleluia, alleluia!
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!

Dear mother earth, who day by day
Unfold rich blessings on our way,
Sing your praises! Alleluia!
The flowers and fruits that in you grow,
Let them God's glory also show.
Sing your praises! Alleluia, alleluia!
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!

And every one of tender heart,
Forgiving others, take your part,
Sing your praises! Alleluia!
All you who pain and sorrow bear,
Praise God and cast on him your care.
Sing your praises! Alleluia, alleluia!
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!

And you, most kind and gentle death,
Waiting to hush our final breath,
Sing your praises! Alleluia!
You lead to heaven the child of God
Where Christ our Lord the way has trod.
Sing your praises! Alleluia, alleluia!
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!

Let all things their Creator bless,
And worship God in humbleness,
Sing your praises! Alleluia!
Praise God, the Father, God the Son,
And God the Spirit, Three in One!
Sing your praises! Alleluia, alleluia!
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia!

First Reading - Hab. 1:2-3; 2:2-4

How long, O LORD? I cry for help but you do not listen!
I cry out to you, "Violence!" but you do not intervene.
Why do you let me see ruin; why must I look at misery?
Destruction and violence are before me; there is strife, and clamorous discord.
Then the LORD answered me and said:
Write down the vision clearly upon the tablets, so that one can read it readily.
For the vision still has its time, presses on to fulfillment, and will not disappoint; if it delays, wait for it, it will surely come, it will not be late.
The rash one has no integrity; but the just one, because of his faith, shall live.

Responsorial Psalm -
Psalm 95

R. (8) If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

Come, let us ring out our joy to the LORD; hail the Rock who saves us.
Let us come into his presence, giving thanks; let us hail him with a song of praise.
R. If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

O come; let us bow and bend low.
Let us kneel before the God who made us,
For he is our God, and we are the people who belong to his pasture, the flock that is led by his hand.
R. If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

O, that today you would listen to his voice!
“Harden not your hearts as at Meribah, as on that day at Massah in the desert,
When your forebears put me to the test; when they tried me, though they saw my work.”
R. If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

Second Reading - 2 Timothy 1:6-8, 13-14

Beloved:
I remind you, to stir into flame the gift of God that you have through the imposition of my hands.
For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice but rather of power and love and self-control.
So do not be ashamed of your testimony to our Lord, nor of me, a prisoner for his sake; but bear your share of hardship for the gospel with the strength that comes from God.
Take as your norm the sound words that you heard from me, in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.
Guard this rich trust with the help of the Holy Spirit that dwells within us.

Gospel - Luke 17:5-10

The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.”
The Lord replied, “If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.
“Who among you would say to your servant who has just come in from plowing or tending sheep in the field, ‘Come here immediately and take your place at table?’
Would he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare something for me to eat.
Put on your apron and wait on me while I eat and drink.
You may eat and drink when I am finished?’
Is he grateful to that servant because he did what was commanded?
So should it be with you.
When you have done all you have been commanded, say, ‘We are unprofitable servants; we have done what we were obliged to do.’”

Prayer for Our Lady of Angels Parish

Heavenly Father, we thank you for gathering us together and calling us to serve as your disciples.
You have charged us through your Son, Jesus, with the great mission of evangelizing and witnessing your love to the world.
Send your Holy Spirit to guide us as we discern your will for the spiritual renewal of our parish.
Give us strength, courage, and clear vision as we use our gifts to serve you.
We entrust our parish family to the care of Mary, our mother, and ask for her intercession and guidance, as we strive to build a parish that loves God, embraces all people, and shares the Gospel joyfully.

Offertory Hymn - 651 - Open My Eyes

Open my eyes, Lord.
Help me to see your face.
Open my eyes, Lord.
Help me to see.

Open my ears, Lord.
Help me to hear your voice
Open my ears, Lord.
Help me to hear.

Open my heart, Lord.
Help me to love like you.
Open my heart, Lord.
Help me to love.

And the first shall be last,
and our eyes are opened,
and we’ll hear like never before.
And we’ll speak in new ways,
and we’ll see God’s face
in places we’ve never known.

I live within you,
Deep in your heart, O Love,
I live within you,
Rest now in me.

Communion Hymn - 681 - We Remember

We remember how you loved us to your death,
and still we celebrate for you are with us here;
and we believe that we will see you
when you come in your glory, Lord.
We remember, we celebrate, we believe.

Here, a million wounded souls
are yearning just to touch you and be healed;
gather all your people,
and hold them to your heart.
We remember how you loved us to your death,
and still we celebrate for you are with us here;
and we believe that we will see you
when you come in your glory, Lord.
We remember, we celebrate, we believe.

Now we recreate your love,
we bring the bread and wine to share a meal:
sign of grace and mercy,
the presence of the Lord.
We remember how you loved us to your death,
and still we celebrate for you are with us here;
and we believe that we will see you
when you come in your glory, Lord.
We remember, we celebrate, we believe.

Christ, the Father’s great “Amen”
to all the hopes and dreams of ev’ry heart,
peace beyond all telling,
and freedom from all fear.
We remember how you loved us to your death,
and still we celebrate for you are with us here;
and we believe that we will see you
when you come in your glory, Lord.
We remember, we celebrate, we believe.

See the face of Christ revealed
in ev’ry person standing by your side:
gifts to one another,
and temple of your love.
We remember how you loved us to your death,
and still we celebrate for you are with us here;
and we believe that we will see you
when you come in your glory, Lord.
We remember, we celebrate, we believe.

Recessional Hymn - 744 - As a Fire is Meant for Burning

As a fire is meant for burning with a bright and warming flame
So the Church is meant for mission, giving glory to God's name.
As we witness to the gospel, we would build a bridge of care,
Joining hands across the nations, finding neighbors ev'rywhere.

We are learners; we are teachers; we are pilgrims on the way.
We are seekers; we are givers; we are vessels made of clay.
By our gentle loving actions, we would show that Christ is light.
In a humble list'ning Spirit, we would live to God's delight.

As a green bud in the springtime is a sign of life renewed,
So may we be signs of oneness 'mid earth's peoples, many-hued.
As a rainbow lights the heavens when a storm is past and gone,
May our lives reflect the radiance of God's new and glorious dawn.
